Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Seminar on Minimally Invasive Hip and Knee Surgery

Orthopedic Surgeon Thomas Hoerner, MD will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar on the role of MAKOplasty™ for partial knee resurfacing and total hip replacement on April 5, 2016, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Dr. Hoerner will talk about MAKOplasty™  and explain how this computer assisted procedure is used to treat hip and knee pain. He will explain conservative and surgical treatments for osteoarthritis, explain the advantages of different surgical approaches, and explore the differences between the direct anterior and posterior approaches to total hip replacement.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour is nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
