Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Seminar on Causes and Treatments of Hand and Shoulder Pain

Learn the latest information about the causes and treatments of hand and shoulder pain at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, 6-7 p.m. with Orthopedic Surgeons Pamela Jones, MD and Xavier Simcock, MD.

Dr. Jones, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Board Certified Hand Surgeon, will discuss the common causes and treatments for hand pain including carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, tendonitis and ganglion cysts. 

Dr. Simcock, who completed a two-year fellowship in surgery of the Hand, Wrist, Shoulder, and Elbow at the Cleveland Clinic, and one of the first five physicians nationwide to receive this type of comprehensive fellowship sponsored by the American Society for the Surgery of the Hand, will talk about common causes of rotator cuff conditions and available treatment options.

The presentation is part of the Meet the Expert series of seminars held monthly throughout the year at Holy Family Hospital, which are free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served and registration is required. Nurses in attendance are awarded one contact hour in nursing at the end of the presentation.

This free seminar will be in the Holy Family Hospital Haverhill campus first-floor auditorium.
