Holy Family Hospital Urologist Offers Free Seminar on New Treatments for the Enlarged Prostate

 
Urologist George Canellakis, MD will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar on new treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia, more commonly known as enlarged prostate or BPH, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on April 4, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium.
 
During his presentation titled “New Treatments for BPH,” Dr. Canellakis will define what an enlarged prostate is, describe lower urinary tract symptoms, explain the conventional treatments for BPH, and discuss two new minimally invasive treatments, including the new UroLift™ procedure which reduces pressure on the urethra and helps preserve sexual function.
 
This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour in nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
