Holy Family Hospital’s Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center Named a Center of Excellence for the Sixth Consecutive Year

For the sixth year in a row Holy Family Hospital’s Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center has earned the Robert A. Warriner, III Center of Excellence award for exceeding healing and quality benchmarks.

Following its first year of operation, The Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center received a Center of Distinction award for achieving patient satisfaction rates over 90 percent, and an 89 percent healing rate. When the center achieved the same benchmarks the second year, it received a second Center of Distinction award, plus the prestigious Center of Excellence award for repeat high-quality performance.

This year the center has received the Center of Excellence Award for the sixth consecutive year.

The honor comes from Healogics, one of the nation’s leading wound care management companies. The Wound Care Center is a member of the Healogics Clinical Network of almost 800 centers across the country, which allows access to benchmarking data, and a network experienced in treating millions of chronic wounds.

"Our team is committed to patients. We combine best-practice clinical care with the most advanced technologies and the greatest compassion to achieve comprehensive successful outcomes,” says Jonathan Gordon, MD, Medical Director of the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center. “We’re proud that the care we provide has earned us this distinction six years in a row.

The award is a testament to our exceptional wound care team.”

At Holy Family Hospital’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center in Haverhill, hundreds of patients have received specialized treatment that heals difficult wounds and often prevents amputations.

“The extraordinary care provided to patients in our Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center is life-changing, and at times, even life-saving,” says Holy Family Hospital President Craig Jesiolowski. “We are proud of our wound care team. Their skill and dedication helps patients regain their health so they and their family members can get back to living active and fruitful lives.”
