Holy Family Hospital Announces Marcella Rivard as the New Chief Financial Officer

Holy Family Hospital is pleased to announce that Marcella L. Rivard has accepted the position of chief financial officer.
 
Rivard, a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in business administration, comes to Holy Family Hospital with over 30 years of experience in health care finance, in the areas of physician group practices, community and teaching hospitals, consulting, and public accounting. 
 
“Marcella Rivard’s record of success in hospital finance makes her valued member of our senior management team,” says Holy Family Hospital President Joseph Roach.  “I am pleased to welcome Marcella to Holy Family Hospital, and I look forward to successful collaboration on existing hospital programs as well as new ventures that will continue to move our hospital forward.”
 
Rivard most recently served as chief financial officer for the Department of Medicine, Harvard Medical Faculty Practice, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in Boston.
 
“I have been in health care finance for over 25 years in Massachusetts, and I have always heard about the wonderful care Holy Family Hospital provides to the community. I am pleased to be part of that and I look forward to contributing to the success of the organization,” says Rivard.
 
Rivard has also served as corporate controller and director of financial planning and decision support at Hallmark Health Systems in Medford; and as senior director of financial planning, and director of member and affiliate development, at UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester.
 
Rivard brings a wealth of experience in transactional accounting, strategic financial planning, and forecasting, and has a record of success within complex tertiary and community health systems. Her strengths include service line analysis, business planning for new programs, and physician relations.
