Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Colorectal Cancer Seminar in Honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Gastroenterologist Bridget J. Seymour, MD, and Colorectal Surgeon Romie Mundy, MD, will present a free seminar on the prevention, detection and treatment of colorectal cancer.

Together, Dr. Seymour and Dr. Mundy will talk about how to prevent colon cancer, how it is detected, various treatment options and the roles of gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons.

The seminar will be at Holy Family Hospital-Haverhill on March 1, 2016 from 6 to 7 p.m., in the first-floor auditorium.

The presentation is part of the Meet the Expert series of seminars held monthly throughout the year. Seminars are free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served, and registration is required. Nurses in attendance are awarded one continuing education credit at the end of the presentation.
