Dr. Mundy performed laparoscopic surgery six days later. I was in the hospital for three days, and I was up and walking the first day. This was as good an outcome anyone could hope for with a diagnosis of cancer. I couldn’t have had better care. Dr. Seymour was very good and right on top of everything she needed to do. Dr. Mundy has an excellent bedside manner. He was great about informing me of everything he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and why. He said what I had was basically curable with surgery - and that was the best part. I would recommend him. I am pleased with my doctors and the nursing staff - the nurses were wonderful, as usual.
During my stay the cleaning lady came into my room. I needed a pillow and she volunteered to get one for me, and the head of the kitchen made sure to send up the type of food I was allowed to eat.
The Emergency Center, thoracic surgeon and nurses on St. Camillus were all fabulous. Thank you so much.
My doctor on St. Mary’s had excellent follow-up. He checked in with me several times and communicated well. It was the same with all of the staff. The nurses and everyone get an A+.
Caitlyn was my nurse and Dr. Moore was my surgeon. They were both good to me and attended to my every need.
I would like to say thank you to St. Mary’s nurses. They were very pleasant and kind. Thank you so much for everything.
"Two Thumbs Up" to the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. I had a great doctor!
I had a dirt bike accident and destroyed my knee - torn ACL and MCL, torn cartilage, and I almost severed my femoral artery. I met Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Gregory Johnson in the emergency department at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. He ordered tests and set up an appointment to go over results and schedule surgery. People kept telling me to go to Boston for my knee surgery, but I liked Dr. Johnson and decided to have him do it. My surgery was done on the Haverhill campus, as was my physical therapy. It was a good experience and my recovery was fast. I highly recommend the hospital and Dr. Johnson.
When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease my symptoms were so severe that I was afraid to leave the house. I had lost a lot of weight and I was nervous about my health. Each time I’ve visited Holy Family Hospital’s endoscopy department for testing I’ve been treated so well. My doctor is excellent and the endoscopy staff is friendly and reassuring. It’s a great team and I feel grateful to be in their care. I haven’t needed surgery yet, but I wouldn’t hesitate to have it done at Holy Family Hospital now that it has two new colorectal surgeons, because the care I’ve received at Holy Family has always been outstanding.
