Holy Family Hospital Offers Free Seminar on New Solutions for Shoulder Arthritis

Holy Family Hospital Orthopedic Surgeon Xavier C. Simcock, MD will talk about new ways to help those suffering with shoulder arthritis during a free seminar at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
 
During his presentation, titled “New Solutions to Shoulder Arthritis,” Dr. Simcock will talk about the two primary types of shoulder arthritis, solutions for those suffering with these types of shoulder arthritis, and how advanced 3-D imaging technology helps make custom solutions for individual patients.
 
The seminar is from 6-7 p.m.in the hospital’s first-floor auditorium.
 
Dr. Simcock earned his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and then completed his Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital. His upper extremity fellowship training was at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
 
The presentation is part of the Meet the Expert series of seminars held monthly throughout the year. Seminars are free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served, and registration is required. Nurses in attendance are awarded one continuing education credit at the end of the presentation.
