Holy Family Hospital’s Women’s Health Night Will Focus on Breast Cancer Awareness

Holy Family Hospital will hold Women’s Health Night, a special evening of health information for women in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016.
 
Board Certified Surgeon Robert Moore, MD, from Holy Family Hospital and Steward North Andover Surgery, will discuss breast cancer screenings and genetic testing in his talk titled Genes and Screens.
 
Those who attend will gain an understanding of the recommendations for self breast exams, screening mammography, and other imaging modalities, and learn about the indications and implications of genetic testing.
 
The event will be held at Holy Family Hospital, 70 East St. in Methuen, 6-7:00 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required. One contact hour in nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation. The event is free and open to the public.
