Holy Family Hospital To Hold June Senior Lunch on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Hand Pain

Carpal tunnel syndrome and hand pain will be the topic during Senior Lunch at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill on June 5, 2018.

Holy Family Hospital Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist Mary Whinery, MS, OT, CHT will talk about the causes of carpal tunnel syndrome, the symptoms, how therapy can help alleviate pain, and what’s involved for post-operative care if surgical treatment is needed.

The senior luncheon presentation will be held in hospital’s first-floor auditorium from 1 to 2 p.m. The cost of $5 includes a full dinner and the presentation.

The menu includes garden salad, macaroni and beef casserole, seasoned green beans, dinner rolls, dessert, coffee, and tea.
