Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Seminar on Mako™ Technology and Anterior Total Hip Replacement

Orthopedic Surgeon Thomas Hoerner, MD will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar on Mako™ Technology and its potential role in anterior total hip replacement on August 4, 2015, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Dr. Hoerner will talk about the differences between the direct anterior and posterior approaches to total hip replacement, explain ways to treat hip and knee pain, describe what Mako is, and explain how a computer-assisted procedure like Mako is performed and why.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour is nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
