Holy Family Hospital to Offer Free Seminar on Heart Failure In Honor of American Heart Month

Primary Care Physician Nita Pant, MD will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar on heart failure at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on February 7, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium.
 
During her presentation titled “Patient Education about Heart Failure,” Dr. Pant will talk about the difference between systolic and diastolic heart failure, explain what patients can do on their own to prevent heart failure and protect their hearts, and talk about common medications used to treat heart failure.
 
This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour is nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
